Vivian Blake Hanks age 57 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at his home.

Blake was born on October 24, 1961 in Galax, Virginia to Billy Reed and Selma Jean Grimes Hanks.

He is survived by his mother Jean Grimes Harvey; father and step-mother Billy and Virginia Lee Hanks all of Galax, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Thomas Zane and Melissa Hanks of Florida; granddaughter Ezme Hanks; sisters Teresa Jean Young and Jennifer Marie Oakley both of Galax, Virginia; brothers and sister- in-law Timothy Reed and Tina Hanks of Galax, Virginia; Michael Scott Harvey of Kentucky; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be Sunday at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Jimmy Farmer officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 PM until time for the service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
