Virginia Ann Thomason Smith age 69 of Galax, Virginia passed away on Wednesday August 3, 2022 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Ann was born in Galax, Virginia on January 2, 1953 to Curtis Reed and Hattie Mae Nester Thomason. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother J.C. Thomason.

She is survived by her husband B.C. Smith of Galax, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Donnie and Felicia Smith of Woodlawn, Virginia two grandchildren Donnie Smith, Jr.  and Seth Smith; sisters and brother-in-law Wanda Bedsaul; Nelma and James Melton; brother and sister-in-law Bobby and Daphine Thomason all of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday August 8th at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Elder Pete Hawks officiating. There will be no visitation.
