Virginia Rhudy Vaughan's Obituary
Virginia Rhudy Vaughan age 98 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, September 14,2009 at Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Vaughan was born on March 27, 1911 in Grayson County, Va. to Steve & Ina Rhudy. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charlie C. Vaughan.
She is survived by several cousins; a host of friends; special caregivers Irma Gardner; Eunice Harvey; Dorothy Davis; Ann Davis; Cookie Davis; Jewel Grimes; Judy Durham and Kathy Williams.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Jerusalem United Methodist Church with Rev. Vicki Neese officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from one until service time at Jerusalem United Methodist Church.
