Virginia Hazel Redd's Obituary
Virginia Hazel Redd age 91 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 in the Waddell Nursing Home.
Mrs. Redd was born in Carroll County, Virginia on December 9, 1923 to Charlie and Sarah Adiline Dillard Nester. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Chap Redd; sister Hattie Mae Nester Thomason and brother Harless Nester.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and nephews and the special caregivers at Waddell Nursing Home.
The funeral service will be held Monday, March 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in the James Webb Cemetery at Laurel Fork, Virginia. The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
