Virginia Elizabeth Davis Moser age 89 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at her home.

Mrs. Moser was born in Grayson County, Virginia on February 20, 1924 to Lemuel and Mary Dodson Davis. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Irvin Lloyd Moser and a granddaughter Mickey Lynn Bartlett.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Sandy and Danny Burris of Galax, Virginia; Kim and Steve Russell of North East, Maryland; grandchildren Todd Bartlett; Tori McCann; Stephanie Russell and Jodi Russell; great-grandchildren Catie; Dallas; Darrell and Tristen; sisters Helen Thomas of Collinsville, Virginia; Anna Mae Pace of Siler City, North Carolina; Mary Etta Hilton of Granite Shoals, Texas; brother James Davis of Spotsylvania,Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Mt. Vale United Methodist Church with Rev. Ted Bartlett and Marvin Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Vale United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the church.
