Virginia Jane "Janie" Snow age 74 of Sparta, North Carolina passed away Monday, November 9, 2020 at her home.

Janie was born on August 22, 1946 in Grayson County, Virginia to Blair and Lou Hendricks Vaughan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Early Junior Snow.

She is survived by her children Jamie Sandefur, Chama McKnight, Carmen Snow all of Fries, Virginia; David Lane of Ivanhoe Virginia, Robbie Lane of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; Kevin Snow of Pulaski, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Pam and Johnny Childress of Fries, Virginia; special grandchildren Aylisa and William; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; special caregiver Mary; fur baby Buddy; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM in the Atkins Memorial United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Chris "Spud" Smith officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
