Virginia Mae Duncan, age 86, of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday December 25, 2025 in Forsyth Medical Center.

Virginia was born on August 4, 1939 in Grayson County, Virginia to the late Guy Bolen and Curtie Williams Isom. She was also preceded in death by her husband James C. Duncan.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Patti and Jeff Cottrell of Huntingtown, Maryland, Kathy and Ron Hoover of Falling Waters, West Virginia, Rhonda Cleavland of Maryland; son Mike Duncan of Galax, Virginia; sisters and brothers-in-law Mary Webb of Woodlawn, Virginia, Susie and Lewis Goad of Galax, Virginia, Ronnie and Teresa Isom of Woodlawn, Virginia, Mary Isom of Galax, Virginia, Margaret Isom of North Carolina; special friend Doris and Ronnie Cole; several grand children, several great grandchildren and a large extended family.

The graveside service will be held Monday December 29, 2025 at 10:00AM in the McKenzie Cemetery with Pastor Ronnie Isom officiating.
