Virginia Pauline Blackburn Burcham (Polly) age 95, of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday January 7, 2026 in her home.

Mrs. Burcham was born on June 2, 1930 in Sparta, North Carolina to the late Carl and Etta Duncan Blackburn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Burcham; sisters Shirley Caudill Brewer, Gwyn Church, Lou Ella Rutherford; and brothers Gayle Blackburn and James Blackburn.

Polly is survived by several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Monday January 12, 2026 at 2PM in Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home's Chapel, with Pastor Danny Tolley officiating. Burial will follow the service in Fairlawn Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1PM until time of the service at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
