Virginia Dare Bare age 82 of Fancy Gap, Va. passed away Sunday, May 6, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Bare was born in Grayson County, Va. on June 14, 1924 to the late Staley & Flora Bell Halsey Anderson. She is survived by her husband James G. Bare of Fancy Gap, Va.; daughter & son-in-law Brenda Joyce & Richard Meadows of Rising Sun, Maryland; son & daughter-in-law Leonard Franklin & Maria Ellena Bare of Dobson, N.C.; sisters Zettie Koutz of Roanoke, Va.; Donna King of Rising Sun, Maryland; brother Dewight Anderson of Ann Arbor, Michigan; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at 2:00 PM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Hank Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home from 12:00 o'clcok until service time.
