Virginia Melton Adams' Obituary
Virginia Melton Adams, age 79, of Galax, VA died Friday, Dec. 24, 2010 in the Alleghany Care & Rehab Center, Sparta, NC.
Mrs. Adams was born March 14, 1931 in Carroll County, VA to Jacob and Lura Whittington Melton.
She is survived by her husband, Sebert Adams of the home; daughters & son-in-law, Rose Snow, Galax, VA and Kathy & Richard Padgett,
Woodlawn, VA; sons & daughters-in-law, David & Deborah Beamer, and Casey & Keli Adams all of Hillsville, VA; grandchildren, Josie Adams, Celina Harvey, Matthew Jackson, Jacob Beamer & Suzanne Beamer-Horton; six great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be held Monday, Dec. 27, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel,
Galax, VA. The family will receive friends Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. The Rev. Camet Spivey will be the officiating minister.
