Virgil Thomas Weatherman, age 77, of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday August 27, 2022 in Waddell Nursing and Rehab.

Virgil was born on December 8, 1944 in Galax, Virginia to the late Paul Reed and Ellen Patton Weatherman. He was also preceded in death by his wife Blossom McLean Weatherman and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Thomas and Julie Weatherman of Maple Hill, North Carolina; granddaughter Leigh-Anne Weatherman of Mocksville, North Carolina; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday August 31, 2022 at 2:00PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Sam Holder officiating. Burial will follow in Ballard Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until time of the service at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
