Virgil "Pete" Jefferson Graham age 61 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, October 28, 2012 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Pete was born in Grayson County, Virginia on January 2, 1951 to Elmer Boyd and Virginia Elizabeth Felts Graham.

He is survived by his fiancee' Anna Lawson of Galax, Virginia; sisters and brothers-in-law Patsy and James Williams of Galax, Virginia; Pauline Swinney; Gladys and Roger Redd of Fries, Virginia; Ann and Haskel Wright of Galax, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law James Boyd and Dorothy Graham of Galax, Virginia; Franklin and Linda Graham of Fries, Virginia; Herbert and Betty Graham; Tony and Kathy Graham all of Galax, Virginia; step-children Lynn, Abby, Martie and Tammy; eight step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special buddy D.J..

The funeral service will be held Friday, November 2, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Roger Redd officiating. Burial will follow in the Fries Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
