Virgil Steve Donithan's Obituary
Virgil Steve Donithan age 86 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mr. Donithan was born in Grayson County, Virginia on April 24, 1937 to Harvey and Leona Pierce Donithan.
He is survived by his wife Wannie Weatherman Donithan of Galax, Virginia; son Douglas Steve Donithan of Galax, Virginia and the Philippines; sister Elizabeth Catron of Galax, Virginia; sister-in-law Maggie Bottomley; brothers-in-law and spouses Don and Emma Weatherman; Johnny and Sandy Weatherman; Roy Truitt all of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephew.
The funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Rodney Christman officiating . Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
