Viola Isabell Taylor age 72 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015 at her home.
Viola was born in Virginia on March 31, 1943 to Heath Venoy and Doris Puckett Wilmouth.
She is survived by her daughter Melinda Taylor of Galax, Virginia; granddaughter Kenna Taylor of Galax, Virginia; sisters and brother-in-law Barbara and James Chappell of Hillsville, Virginia; Norma Dillerd of Frederick, Maryland; brothers and sister-in-law Richard and Lorine Wilmouth; Howard Wilmouth all of Galax, Virginia; sister-in-law Barbara Lambert of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; special niece Ann Hughes; close family friends and caregivers Keith Cruise, Kelsey Utt and Daniel Sexton.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday December 29, 2015 at 2:30 PM in the Galax City Cemetery with Roger Redd officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
