Vina Ruth Harris' Obituary
Vina Ruth Harris, age 89, of Galax, VA passed away Monday, September 3, 2007 at the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Harris was born June 30, 1918 in South Carolina to Jesse Lee Crosby and Fannie Gertrude Hiers Crosby.
She is survived by her daughter, Helen Crane of Galax; three grandchildren Skip Beggs, Jennifer Beggs, Sheryll Beggs. A great grandchild Cierra Beggs. Also surviving are four half sisters Vivian Jolly, Nora Hatchell, Lucille Edwards, and Lillian Padgett and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 6 at the Skyview Cemetery in Fancy Gap, VA. at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Wendell Horton officiating.
