Vida Glee Shapiro age 95 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday December 3, 2014 in the Golden Living/Blue Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Shapiro was born on November 1, 1919 in Grayson County, Virginia to the late William Walter and Lessie Hash Eller. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Milton Shapiro.

She is survived by her brother Wayne Eller of Galax, Virginia and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel. Burial will follow in the Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home
