Victoria "Vickie"  Martin Dowling age 74 of Siler City, North Carolina passed away Sunday December 11, 2022 in Fries, Virginia.

Vickie was born on January 7, 1948, in Grayson County, Virginia to Billy Brian and Elizabeth Turner Martin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Kelly Renee' Dowling, sister Mary Rakes and a niece Valerie Wade.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Tony and Cassie Vaughan of Fries, Virginia; grandchildren and spouses Holley and Randy Whitlow; Joshua and Magan Vaughan; Elijah and Faith Vaughan; great-granddaughters Adaline Vaughan; Elizabeth Vaughan and Lillian Vaughan; step-father Roy Barrett; sister Billie Martin all of Fries, Virginia; brothers Jackie Martin of Galax, Virginia; Darren Barrett of Fries, Virginia; brother-in-law Gordon Rakes; several nieces and nephews and special friend Frances Cheek.

A graveside service will be held Saturday December 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Providence Cemetery with Holley Vaughan Whitlow officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to the Fries Church of God of Prophecy.
