Vickie Lynn Vaughan Stanley age 64 of Fries, Virginia passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021  surrounded by her children and grandchildren whom she loved dearly in the Forsyth Medical Center.

Vickie was born in Galax, Virginia on March 4, 1957 to Willard Roy and Peggy Ramey Vaughan. In addition to her parents Willard Roy Vaughan and Peggy Ramey Gwyn, she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Stanley; grandson Jacob Stanley and a great-grandchild Baby Holyfield.

Vickie was a servant of the Lord and loving mother to six children, her grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way.

She is survived by her children and their spouses Jason Stanley of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Susan Fleming of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; Benjamin Stanley and fiance' Danielle Blevins; Adam Stanley and Brandi; Millie Stanley all of Fries, Virginia; Jana and Andrew Crotts of Galax, Virginia; sisters and brothers-in-law Kay and Mike Vaught of Elk Creek, Virginia; Teresa and Lane Beshears of Elkin, North Carolina; grandchildren and spouse Cassidy Holyfield and Luke; Kylie Fleming all of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; Brayden Stanley and Arabella Stanley both of Fries, Virginia; great-grandchild Ledger Holyfield; several nieces and nephews and her loyal companions Reese and Ellie.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Ron Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the Skyline Memory Gardens in Mt. Airy, North Carolina. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.

Vickie loved to feed people and supported local ministry in Fries. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to  Elmo Moore 967 Blueridge View Lane, Fries, Virginia 24330.
