Vertie Trimble Litteral age 79 of Ivanhoe, Virginia passed away Thursday August 25, 2022 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Litteral was born in Grayson County, Virginia on March 11, 1943 to Benjamin Frank and Hattie Carico Trimble. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson Christopher Litteral.

She is survived by her husband Benny Litteral; daughter and son-in-law Cindy and Ralph Cox all  of Ivanhoe, Virginia; two grandchildren Justin Cox and Miranda Cox; great-granddaughter Macie Hanks; sisters and brothers-in-law Susie and Jerry Hawks; Dimple and Ray Carico all of Fries, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law Johnny and Bonnie Trimble; BB and Betty Trimble all of Galax, Virginia; Jeff Trimble; Mickey and Kimberly Trimble; Joey and Tammy Trimble; Buster and Sally Trimble all of Fries, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; special friends Jenny Farmer and  Donnie Davis.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Sherman Davis officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
