Verna Me Fowler's Obituary
Verna Mae Fowler, 85, of Woodlawn passed away Friday, March 5, 2010 at her home.
Verna was born May 19, 1924 in Carroll County, Virginia to Barney Lawrence Lineberry and Lillie Frances Lineberry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother B. L. Lineberry, Jr.
She is survived by five sisters: Hazel Patton, Georgia Bryant, Betty Farmer, Barbara Caldwell all of Galax and Berthal Primm of Woodlawn; one brother Rhudy Lineberry of Woodlawn and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, March 7, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church with Elders Mike McGrady, Leonard Marshall and Pastor Russell Payne officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 PM until time for the service. Interment will follow in the Harmon-Lineberry-Robinson Cemetery in the Buckwoods Section of Woodlawn.
