Verlin Wendell Gallimore, 68, of Galax, VA entered his heavenly home on Saturday, November 16th, 2024. He passed away at his home surrounded by loved ones.

Mr. Gallimore was born on August 10th, 1956 in Galax, VA. His passion was outdoors. If he wasn't cutting timber, he was in the woods hunting.

He was preceded in death to his parents, Nelson and Freda Gallimore; special cousin, Rick Gallimore; special friend, Allen Eastridge.

He is survived by his sons and daughter in law, Trey Gallimore, Trenton and Anna Gallimore; Grandchildren, Brayleigh Gallimore, a grandson on the way; sisters and brother in laws, Pat and Monty Rector, Barbara and Steve Ogle, Rebecca and Jerry McGrady; several dear nieces and nephews; special friends, David and Ramona Alderman.

A graveside service will be held Monday, November 18th at 11am on private family land. Anyone who would like to attend can meet at 10:30am and follow family members from Vaughan Guynn Funeral Home to the burial site. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
