Vera Sexton Talley's Obituary
Vera Sexton Talley age 88 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mrs. Talley was born in Carroll County, Virginia on June 12 1926 to Charlie Jefferson and Ada Florence Thomason Sexton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Warren Talley; son-in-law Carroll G. Roberts and eight brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughter Diana T. Roberts of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren and spouses Rodney and Cindy Roberts; Kim and Allen Rosenbaum all of Galax, Virginia; three great-grandchildren Justin Rosenbaum, Allison Roberts and Jacob Roberts; several nieces and nephews and an extended family at Waddell Nursing Home.
A graveside service will be held Friday, February 6, 2015 at 3:00 PM in the Monta Vista Cemetery with Rev. Randy Morris officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
