Veneta Diane Brown, known as Diane Brown  age 73 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday February 4, 2023 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Diane was born in Wytheville, Virginia on February  17, 1949 to Billy Josiah and Ruth Lollie Cline Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Mary Lee Stoots.

She is survived by her husband Charles Duane Brown; daughter and fiancé' Dana Widner and Tony Parks; sister and brother-in-law Rhonda and J.B. Tolbert; brother and sister-in-law David and Dawn Jones all of Galax, Virginia; two grandchildren Kassie Widner of Blacksburg, Virginia; Jacey Widner of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

At the request of Diane her body will be cremated and there will be no services.
