Vena Ree Harrison age 74 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Saturday, November 14, 2009 at her home.
Mrs. Harrison was born on May 4, 1935 in Ennice, North Carolina to Vester & Pearl Vaughan Coleman.
She is survived by her husband Carrol Harrison of Woodlawn, Va.; daughters & son-in-law Kim & Brian Reedy of Galax, Va.; Patricia Hawks of Woodlawn, Va.; sisters Doris White of Sophia, N.C.; Eula Hall of Thomasville, N.C.; Norma Auman of High Point, N.C.; Jackie Wagoner of Trinity, N.C.; Kathy Honeycutt of Thomsville, N.C.; brother Artie Coleman of High Point, N.C.; two grandchildren; several nieces & nephews; special friend Pauline Phipps.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 11:00 am in Elkhorn Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Bailey, Rev. Jackie Delp and Pastor Ronny Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in Crooked Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday night from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
