Van Buren Mccarter's Obituary
Dr. Van Buren McCarter age 96 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.
Dr. McCarter was born on July 11, 1921 in Grayson County, Virginia to Bryan and Kate Killinger McCarter. In addition to his parent he was preceded in death by his wife Jane Giersch McCarter.
He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law Van and Janet McCarter of Blue Ridge, Virginia; Jeff and Audrey McCarter of Fancy Gap, Virginia; Robert and Pam McCarter of Wytheville, Virginia; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Felts Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Gregory officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral homeFuneral Services for Van Buren Mccarter
