Vada Louise Martin, age 82, of Galax, Virginia died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012 in the Forsyth Medical Center, Winston Salem, NC.
Mrs. Martin was born Dec. 18, 1929 in the Baywood Community of Grayson County, VA to Ed & Lula Tilley Billings.
She is survived by children & spouses, Betty Noel, Galax, VA, Mary & Dennis Hall, Hillsville, Va, Dennis Martin, Woodlawn, VA and Dan Martin, Galax, VA; brothers & sisters, Rosa & Hobert Mays, Galax, Va, Velin & Clayton Carico, Fries, VA, Ada & Penn Isom, Galax, VA, George Billings, Galax, Va, Jay Billings, Galax, Va, Charlie Billings, Fries, Va, Treva Roberts,
Fries, VA; son-in-law, Kyle Lane, Fries, VA; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.
A graveside service will be held Monday Aug, 13, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The Rev. Bob Adams and the Rev. Max Combs will be the officiating ministers. There will be no visitation.
