Trooper Wayne Linville, 4 month infant son of Kristie R. Linville of Galax and Robert Craig Leagens also of Galax, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2009 at Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax, VA.

In addition to his parents he is survived by two sisters Emma Padgett and Sunshine Blankenship both of Galax; maternal grandparents Connie Wayne & Judy Padgett of Lambsburg, VA; paternal grandmother Wanda Leagens of Fries, VA; maternal great grandmother Estel Lee Padgett of Galax; special great uncle Jack Padgett, and God Fathers James Nester and Brandon King.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held Sunday November 29 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Richard Fitzgerald officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Carroll County.
