John Trenton Huffman, 82, of Galax, Virginia passed away at his home Thursday, May 17, 2018.  Trenton was born May 8, 1936 to the late Herman and Wilma Bolen Huffman.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn Cox Huffman.

He is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law: Ricky L. Huffman of Las Vegas, Nevada; Gregg and Lisa Huffman of New London, North Carolina; granddaughter and husband Cassie and Chris Hines; brother and sister-in-law Jim and Vera Huffman of Galax. Two nieces and one nephew also survive.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. D. G. Fox officiating. Interment will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until service time.
