Tony Edward Willis age 56 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Tony was born in Galax, Virginia on
June 2, 1957 to Clarence Elmo and Virginia Martin Willis.
In addition to his mother Virginia Willis of Galax, Virginia he is survived by his sister Rev. Salena Barnes of Washington, DC; brothers Roger Willis of Roanoke, Virginia; Rufus Willis; William "Shotgun" Willis; Clarence Willis, Jr. all of Galax, Virginia; sisters-in-law Louise Willis of Galax, Virginia; Ramona Martin of Roanoke, Virginia; Pauline Brooks of Pulaski, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; host of special friends.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the Bethany Baptist Church with Pastor Daryl Beamer and Rev. Sharon Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 noon until time for the funeral service at the Bethany Baptist Church.
