Tony Wayne Jones age 59 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025 at his home.

Tony was born in Galax, Virginia on May 6, 1966 to Wayne Cephus Jones and Velda Mae Bowman Jones.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Jessica Renee Jones.

He is survived by his partner Loren; son Nathan Jones of Fries, Virginia; mother Velda Mae Bowman Jones of Austinville, Virginia; father Wayne Cephus Jones of Galax, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Michelle and Kevin Moore of Dugspur, Virginia; grandmother Guida Lawson of Galax, Virginia; several aunts and uncles; one niece Amber Moore of Dugspur, Virginia.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Elder Ronald Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
