Thornton Ray Pearman's Obituary
Thornton Ray Pearman age 81 of Fries, Virginia passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2011 in the Golden Living Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mr. Pearman was born on May 9, 1930 in Carroll County, Virginia to Jim and Rose Cox Pearman.
He is survived by his wife Janie Pearman; son and daughter-in-law Jay and Joyce Pearman all of Fries, Va.; grandson and wife Kevin and Karan Pearman; great-granddaughter Jaelyn Pearman; brother and sister-in-law Glen and Pansy Pearman of Greensboro, N.C..
The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Hope United Methodist Church with Rev. Tim Smith and Rev. Bill Linkous officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery with Military Rites by Hillsville VFW Post 1115. The body will lie-in-state one hour prior the funeral service.
