Thomas Junior Widner age 92 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at his home.

Mr. Widner was born on January 12, 1933 in Damascus, Virginia to Samuel and Pearl Reed Widner.

He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law Lisa and Stephen Kirby of Tomball, Texas; Michelle Winesett of Fries, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Ricky and Connie Widner of Christiansburg, Virginia; sisters Goldie Offield and Martha Lindsey both of Bristol, Virginia; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Fries, Virginia with the Rev. Matt Linkous officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
