Thomas Loyd Warf's Obituary
Thomas Loyd Warf age 88 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mr. Warf was born in Welch, West Virginia on December 10, 1923 to Zelmer Otey and Annie Sharp Warf. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Geneva Darlene Randall; siblings Randall Warf, Richard Warf, Carl Irvin Warf, Edna Waller and Victor Warf.
Mr. Warf proudly served his country in the US Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife Thelma Warf of Galax, Virginia; children Thomas Jr. Warf of Galax, Virginia;
Virginia Faye Carico of Galax, Virginia; Ricky Lloyd Warf of Sparta, North Carolina; Tressy Webb of Hillsville, Virginia; brothers Joe Warf of Galax, Virginia; June Warf of Maryland and Bob Warf of South Carolina; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
