Thomas McKinley Jones better known as T.M. Jones age 80 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Jones was born in Galax, Virginia on October 12, 1937 to Clifford Lee and Hattie Lineberry Jones. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Thomas Randy Jones and a grandson Ethan Hunter Jones.

He is survived by his wife Crilda Jones; daughter Priscilla Williams; sons and daughters-in-law Freddie and Linda Jones; Robert and Sandy Jones; Mark and Joyce Jones; Terry and Tamera Jones; daughter-in-law Kathy Jones all of Galax, Virginia; sisters Una Jones of Galax, Virginia; Faye Rutherford of Woodlawn, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Roger and Velma Jones of Galax, Virginia; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special caregivers Heather, Pam, Paula, Susan Roberts; Angie Slate; Mt. Valley Hospice and Blue Ridge Home Health.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Galax Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Ron Fredericks and the Rev. Theron Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday (tonight) from 6:00 until 8:00 at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
