Thomas Darrell Lineberry age 75 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 in the New River Valley Medical Center.

Mr. Lineberry was born in Carroll County, Virginia on September 29, 1941 to Harbert Thomas and Anna Belle Winesett Lineberry.

He is survived by his wife Geraldine Frazier Lineberry of Galax, Virginia; daughters and son-in-law Pamela Hanks; Kim and David Poe all of Galax, Virginia; sons and daughter-in-law Mark and Valerie Lineberry of Hillsville, Virginia; James Michael Lineberry of Woodlawn, Virginia; sisters Donna Jean Rankin of Galax, Virginia; Rita Lou Woodridge of Roanoke, Virginia; five grandchildren Brittany, Justin, Brandon, Abby and Timmy; one great-grandchild Jackson; one step-grandchild Shannon; two step-great-grandchildren Chandler and Noell; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Myron Dalton and Brandon James Lineberry officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
