Thomas Chester Leckey, Jr. age 51 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, September 24, 2010 at his home.
Thomas was born in Ohio on April 23, 1959 to Thomas Chester Leckey, Sr. and Ethelene Pearl Carico Leckey.
He is survived by his sister Eunice C. Leckey of Chattanooga, Tennessee; aunt and uncle Virginia and James Miller of Fries, Va.; uncle and aunt Oakley and Jewel Carico of Galax, Va.; several cousins; close friends Donna Thomasson; Mike Nester and Dr. Wade Sproviero.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 2:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. James Billings officiating. Burial will follow in Felts Memorial Cemetery with Military Rites by Grayson VFW Post 7726. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
