Thomas Jennings, Jr.  age 71 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday February 5, 2022 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Thomas was born on May 6, 1950 in Overstock, Kentucky to Thomas and Beatrice Carter Jennings. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Charles Jennings.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Megan and Derek Ayers of Galax, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Bonnie Warf Barnes and Bill of Hickory, North Carolina; sister-in-law Clara  Jennings of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; nieces and nephews Jimmy and Vicky Warf; Vonda and Tim Nanney; Brian and Starre Jennings; Chuck Jennings; Tricia and Dan Stanton; Rodney Nash; great-nieces and great-nephews Ethan Jennings; Camille Jennings; Madison Jennings; Tyler Stanton; Lexi Stanton; Michael Moore; Whitney Moore; Josh Nanney; Amber Thorneburg and Alex Warf.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Richard Gregory officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
