Thomas F Howard's Obituary
Thomas F. Howard, 67, of Galax, VA passed way Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Alleghany Memorial Hospital in Sparta, North Carolina.
Mr. Howard was born on October 15, 1940 in Carroll County, Va. to Clyde & Georgia Higgins Howard. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife June Howard. He is survived by
a daughter & son-in-law Teresa Howard Armstrong & David Paul of Winter Park, Florida; a son & daughter-in-law: Richard Thomas Howard & Cheryl of Galax; three grandchildren Amanda Lynn Howard, Cori Ann Howard, Logan Thomas Armstrong, Sister & brother-in-law: Carolyn Dillon and Robert of Winston-Salem, NC; father-in-law: Raymond Burnett of Galax, VA. Also surviving are half brother & wife: Troy McMillian & Evelyn of Galax, VA, Sister-in-law & husband: Margaret B. & Von Cheek of Galax; special niece Christine Phipps and several other nieces & nephews.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday January 15, 20089 at 12:00 Noon in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Stan Tillman officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11:00 until time for the service at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in the Mount Olivet Cemetery in the Cranberry Section of Galax.
