Thomas Hardin Higgins' Obituary
Thomas Hardin Higgins age 90 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, April 5, 2010 in Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mr. Higgins was born in Carroll County, Va. on February 26, 1920 to Hardin Preston & Geneva Cox Higgins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Virginia B. Higgins.
He is survived by his daughter Jane Alderman of Galax, Va.; sons & daughter-in-law Hardin P. Higgins of Galax, Va.; Kerry T. & Carol Higgins of Lakewood, Colorado and four grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Sam Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in the Coal Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from one until service time at First Baptist Church.
