Thomas Carson Lineberry age 74 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, April 18, 2016 at his home.

Mr. Lineberry was born in Carroll County, Virginia on February 26, 1942 to William Carson and Mamie Ethel Brannock Lineberry. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters Alma Burch and Wanda Harrenza.

He is survived by his wife Jessie Sue Lineberry; three sons Thomas Lee Lineberry of Woodlawn, Virginia; Jeffery Lineberry of Draper, Virginia; Terry Lineberry of Independence, Virginia; daughters Jessica Sanchez; Linda Goad; Tina Legan; Alisha Phillips all of Galax, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Brenda Empkie Johnson and Garland Johnson of Galax, Virginia; former wife Billie Joyce Lineberry; seventeen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces Tammy Empkie; Carol Anders and Ashleigh Alley; nephews Pete Empkie; Zack Marshall and Jake Johnson; father-in-law and mother-in-law Larry & Lois Phillips; special friend Wanda Osbourne.

The funeral service will be held Friday, April 22, 2016 at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Evangelist Gloria Richardson officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the funeral home. At the request of Mr.Lineberry his body will be cremated after the funeral service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to assist with the funeral expenses.
