Thomas Alan Burcham, 53, of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016 at Twin County Regional Hospital. He was born November 21,1963 in Virginia to late Dexter Eugene Burcham and Nancy Lee Pollard Burcham. His parents have preceded him in death.

Mr. Burcham is survived by his special companion and daughter Eve & Janie Fender of Sparta, North Carolina; sister and brother-in-law Melissa and Mark Wilson of Elk Creek, Virginia; a half-sister Tina East of Low Gap, North Carolina; special aunts and uncles Evelyn Bottomley & Frankie of Galax, Virginia; Doris Keen & Eddie of Booneville, North Carolina; best friend Barry Whitaker and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, November 27, 2016 at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Myron Dalton officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until time for the service. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery.
