Theresa Lynn Mabe, 39, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at her home. Theresa was born February 10, 1976 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania to Paul C. & Regenia Dixon Garber.
She is survived by her fiancé Alexander Edwards of Lambsburg, Virginia; children Brittaney N. Chappell of Claudeville, Virginia; Abigale V. Mabe of Ararat, Virginia; Jason A. Edwards of Ararat, Virginia; Alyssa Marie Edwards of Lamsburg, Virginia; parents: Paul C. and Regenia Garber of Ararat, Virginia; brother Paul Charles Garber, Jr. of Pottstown, Pennsylvania; grandchildren Zander K. J. Chappell, Zayden H. J. Chappell, unborn baby Chappell; step children: Melissa Stevens of Mount Airy, North Carolina; Alexander Edwards, Jr. of Lambsburg, Virginia; step grandchildren: Travis J. Stevens, Monica K. Semones, Colten C. Semones, Natalie P. Stevens; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Elder V. J. Hawks officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, April 3, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Private burial will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Pipers Gap Rescue Squad, 5567 Elk Horn Road, Woodlawn, VA 24381.
