Thelma Daisy Wilson age 85 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, March 18, 2011 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Wilson was born on December 2, 1925 in Craig County, Virginia to Luther and Effie Helms. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Howard Wilson and a grandson Chris Dalton.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Helen and Don Cox; Hazel and John Delp all of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Monica Kennedy; Scarlett Shaw and Renae Cox; great-grandchildren David Dalton; Richard Dalton; Eliana Kennedy and Fiona Rain Kennedy.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Bill Ring officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilson Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from one until service time at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
