Thelma Ruth Hampton's Obituary
Thelma Ruth Hash Hampton age 99 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday in the Galax Health and Rehab Center.
Mrs. Hampton was born on June 6,1917 in Grayson County, Virginia to Robert Lewis and Beulah Clyde Phipps Hash. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Odell Hampton.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law David and Robin Hampton of Galax, Virginia; sister Henrietta Cox of Independence, Virginia; sister-in-law Elizabeth Manus of Galax, Virginia; one grandchild; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Monta Vista Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Gregory officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
