Theda Mae Early age 70 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Theda was born in Galax, Virginia on May 26, 1950 to Herman G. and Stella Reeves Brown. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.

She is survived by two sons Demetrius Early of Lawrence, Kansas and Darrick Andre Early of Camp Springs, Maryland; sisters and brothers-in-law Iona and Michael Bryson of Cleveland, Ohio;  Geralene Brown of Newport News, Virginia;  Gloria J. Brown of Galax, Virginia; Sparkle and Donnell Thompson of Charlotte, North Carolina; brothers and sister-in-law Rev. Jackie and Ann Reeves; Stephen Brown; Perry Brown all of Galax, Virginia; Tony Brown of Newport News, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Friday at 1:00 PM in the Mt. Zion Holiness Church with Pastor Ira Jacobs officiating.  Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Mask and Social Distancing will be required at the services.
