Terry Lynne Gift

On September 19, 2026 God called his angel Terry Lynne Gift home. 

Terry was born on August 17, 1963 in Marion, Virginia to Willis Roger and Opal Bernice Osborne Alley. In addition to her father, Terry was preceded in death by a grandson Phoenix Vaughan.

Terry was one of the most compassionate, loving, and beautiful people ever. Terry was a great mother, wife, grandmother, big sister, and daughter. Terry's personality was one that when you met her you wouldn't forget her. Terry Loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday and she would spend days preparing for the meal. Terry was very proud of her family and when she talked about them her face would light up. Terry completed college with a Bachelor's Degree and worked as a substance abuse counselor, where her compassion and love for other people shown through. 

In addition to her mother Opal Osborne Alley, Terry is survived by her husband Jamie Gift of Fries, Virginia; daughters Danielle Blevins of Fries, Virginia; Alley Blevins (John Vaughan) of Galax, Virginia; sons Garrett Blevins (Jennifer) of Palmyra, Pennsylvania; Jarred Gift of Fries, Virginia; seven grandchildren Jasmine Blevins; Jeremiah Blevins; Wesley Blevins; MJ Johnson; Raven Vaughan; Maverick Vaughan and Taylor Blevins; brother Brian Alley (Linda) of Maryland.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday at 12:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Pickett officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 AM until time for the service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.

She will be greatly missed, but her memories and her life will live on through her family and friends.
