Teddy Jennings, age 67, of Galax, VA, died Saturday, June 14, 2008, at the Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax, Mr. Jennings was born in Carroll County, VA to Sidney & Fanny Hicks Jennings, Feb. 27, 1941. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mona Jennings and survived by his fiancee, Belinda Garland, Galax, Sister-in-law, Hope Isom, brothers & sisters-in-law, Kermit Jennings, Hillsville, VA, Walter & Joyce Jennings, Salem, VA, Ray & June Jennings, El Paso, Texas, Johnny Hicks, Hillsville, VA, sisters-and brother-in-law, Susie Jennings, Hillsville, VA, Ida Mae (Doll) & Clinton Horton, Hillsville, VA. Also surviving are several nieces & nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, June 16, 2008, in the Midway Baptist Church with burial being held on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 in the McKenzie Cemetery at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM prior to the funeral service on Monday. In leiu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Midway Baptist Church or the McKenzie Cemetery. Military rites will be performed by the Hillsville VFW Post #1115.
