Ted Ray Brown age 65 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Thursday night at his home. Ted was born in Carroll County, Va. on December 2, 1943 to Harry Clayton & Imogene Lundy Brown. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Norma Jean Brown. He is survived by his wife Sue Brown of Woodlawn, Va.; daughters & sons-in-law Donna & John Campbell of Independence, Va.; Tracy & Chad Sikes of Woodlawn, Va.; grandchildren Taylor Mayes, Brittany Mayes, Gordan Sikes, Tori Harmon & Colin Campbell; sister & brother-in-law Teresa & Richard McKnight of Galax, Va.; brothers & sister-in-law Tim Brown of Woodlawn, Va.; Roger & Mary Ellen Brown of Galax, Va.; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 3:30 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Kevin Fiorini officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Cranberry. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:30 until 3:30 pm before the service at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
