Talmadge Scottie Jones known as Scottie Jones age 64 of Fries, Virginia passed away Monday, August 31, 2026 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Scottie was born on June 9, 1962 in Grayson County, Virginia to Estill and Mary Ruth Akers Jones.
He is survived by his brother David Jones of Fries, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 2:00 PM in the Monta Vista Cemetery with Pastor BoBo Gravley officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
