Suzi Lee Hiatt age 60 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, July 1, 2024 in the Forsyth Medical Center.

Suzi was born in Mt. Airy, North Carolina on November 13, 1963 to Ledford Franklin and Joyce Helene Dauer Hiatt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter Alaina (Baby Larri) Warf.

She is survived by her wife Gail Dutchess; daughters, sons-in-law and their children Janisa and Landon Viars (Riley, Ellie and #3); Lacey Lawson;Stella and Joey Warf (Elijah and Teyah) all of Galax, Virginia;  step-mom Dianah Ogle of Hillsville, Virginia; one sister; one bother; aunt Hazel Jesse; several nieces and nephews and her in-laws Denny and Nancy Dutchess.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Fries Park Pavilion stage behind the Fries Rec Center on Friday July 5th from 1-3 with an opportunity to share your celebration of her life at 1:30 PM. Bring a lawn chair and a good story!
